Callan specializes in commercial real estate transactions. She represents owners, buyers, developers, borrowers and tenants in negotiating and drafting purchase and sale agreements, office and retail lease agreements and commercial loan documents, facilitating and handling real estate closings, entity formation and other documents and other matters relating to the acquisition, sale, development, operation, commercial and agriculture, leasing and financing of commercial real property.
Callan graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in communications and marketing (she once dreamed of being Katie Couric) and a minor in legal studies. Although she fell in love with Colorado winters, she moved back to the snow-challenged Pacific Northwest to earn her law degree from Seattle University School of Law, the same institution that molded both of her parents into well-respected local attorneys. Since she loves the legal profession and can’t imagine doing anything else for her life’s work, she has never regretted that decision.
When she is not at work, Callan and her husband can be found at their home on the Puget Sound, endlessly throwing sticks for their beloved but high-maintenance rescue pup, Coya. They also enjoy spending time admiring the grapes—on the vines and in the form of fermented juice—at the family vineyard in Eastern Washington.
