Anne Lawler is an experienced transactional lawyer, used to dealing with complex matters. She represents owners, landlords, developers, lenders and business owners in a wide variety of transactions involving real property.
Her work includes negotiating and preparing purchase and sale agreements; commercial, retail, office, ground and industrial leases; commercial and multi-family loan documents; opinion letters; organizational documents for limited liability companies, corporations, partnerships, tenancies in common and joint ventures; easements; development agreements with municipalities; and other documents and matters that are necessary to the acquisition, development, ownership, financing and operation of real property.
After graduating magna cum laude from Duke University, Anne received her J.D. from the University of Washington School of Law where she was a managing editor of the Washington Law Review. Following law school, she clerked for the Honorable Eugene A. Wright on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She has consistently been recognized for excellence in her profession by Best Lawyers, L & P Washington State Super Lawyers, and the Martindale-Hubbell Bar Register of Preeminent Women Lawyers.
She is also a member of the bars of Idaho and Washington. Anne is a past President of CREW Seattle, a past national President of the CREW Network, a past Chair of the CREW Foundation, a past Chair and current Emeritis Board Member of the Runstad Advisory Board to the Runstad Real Estate Department at the University of Washington, and a past Board Member (and Executive Committee Member) of the Duke University Alumni Association Board of Directors.
