Tom Palotas represents lenders in agricultural and commercial real estate transactions, with a focus on title, loan documentation and negotiation, and commercial leasing. He graduated from the University of Washington in 1976 with a B.A. degree in Business Administration, cum laude, then worked in business and finance at Boeing Computer Services. He earned his law degree at the University of Washington with honors in 1984. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association.
Tom was born and raised in Sydney, Australia, of Hungarian parentage, has lived in Spain and India, and has traveled to more places that most people have heard of. He is fluent in Hungarian and speaks just enough Spanish to confuse people in Tucson where he shares a home with his wife and Nazar the Wonder Dog. When he’s not working, Tom enjoys video editing, cooking, moving rocks around on his little acre of the Sonoran Desert, and collecting wildflower seeds. He has written several books on Shivabalayogi, edited the Yoga Vasishta, and prepared an English translation of the historical novel, Egri Csillagok. You will just have to ask him about that.
